Kosovo’s outgoing prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has thanked all those who supported him after he abruptly resigned last Friday after being summoned by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office for questioning for his role as wartime commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
In a Facebook post, Haradinaj said that there will be
no partition or establishment of Republika Srpska in Kosovo. “Thank you all for
your support these days. I never felt alone! The market for recognition, and
not partition of Kosovo or Dodik Republic in Kosovo!” Haradinaj wrote referring
to Republika Srpska’s president Milorad Dodik.
Haradinaj offered his irrevocable resignation as prime
minister of Kosovo last Friday saying that he will appear before Hague war
crimes prosecutors in his private capacity and not as prime minister of Kosovo.
Haradinaj, who during the war was KLA commander of the Dukagjini region is
expected to be questioned by Hague prosecutors this week in his capacity as a
suspect. /Gazeta Express/
